Von Gern Home was founded by Kira Faiman, a former Wall Street executive with a Master’s Degree in the History of Design & Decorative Arts from Parsons. The brand is deeply personal; it is named after her paternal grandmother, Zina Von Gern. As a Russo-German aristocrat who lost her entire estate during the Russian Revolution, Zina never lost her dedication to a finely set table. Inspired by this resilience and elegance, Kira launched the brand to prove that beautiful, stylish table setting shouldn't be reserved just for holidays, but celebrated every day.
