Frequently Asked Questions About Pinetti
Here are some of the most common questions our clients ask about our Pinetti collection.
Pinetti was founded in Bergamo, Italy, in 1983 by Alberto Pinetti and his wife, Ezia. Both owners of an architecture practice, they initially began designing leather items for their own home to satisfy personal needs. Their one-off pieces quickly gained attention in the interior decoration market, turning their passion into a thriving business. Today, the company is managed by the second generation—their sons Lorenzo and Andrea—who continue to champion the "Made in Italy" legacy worldwide.
All Pinetti products are strictly 100% "Made in Italy." The brand operates from its headquarters and manufacturing facility in Brusaporto (Bergamo), where master artisans combine ancient leatherworking skills with advanced, precision technology.
Upcycled leather is created by reprocessing offcuts from vegetable-tanned leather. This process enhances the material’s durability, resulting in a denser, more resistant surface that performs well over time, including in outdoor environments.
Yes, bespoke customization is a core part of Pinetti's offering for the luxury market. Many of their items, including the storage baskets and game sets featured on Amiramour, can be ordered in a wide variety of leather finishes and colors (such as the 15+ colors in their "Antibes" regenerated leather palette) to perfectly match a specific interior design scheme. They can also be embossed with logos and/or initials.
