Ester & Erik

Ester & Erik is a family-owned Danish company founded in 1987 by husband-and-wife duo Ester and Erik Møller. With a shared vision to revive the traditional craft of candle-making, they set up a small factory in Silkeborg, Denmark. Their goal was to create the ultimate, high-end, dripless candle using traditional dipping techniques. Today, the brand is globally celebrated in the luxury lifestyle and interior design sectors.

Every single Ester & Erik candle is still proudly handmade in Silkeborg, Denmark. The brand utilizes traditional, centuries-old "dipping" techniques, where high-quality cotton wicks are repeatedly dipped into warm, pure paraffin wax. It can take up to 24-25 dips to achieve the perfect shape and thickness.

Because they are made of highly refined, dense wax, Ester & Erik pillar candles burn exceptionally slowly. While exact times can vary based on the environment, a 15cm candle for up to 80 hours, and a 20cm pillar candle can burn for up to 106 hours or more.
