The brand was founded by Sarah-Linda Forrer, a designer who graduated from the prestigious Design Academy Eindhoven. Passionate about the food system and sustainability, she began her journey by hand-carving stone spoons for experimental Michelin-starred dinners in Amsterdam. Realizing she needed a material that was durable enough for high-end hospitality but delicate enough to retain her organic, sensual shapes, she traveled to Limoges, France. There, she partnered with historic manufactories to produce her signature, nature-inspired porcelain collections, launching a brand deeply rooted in Epicureanism and tactile dining.

All Sarah-Linda porcelain is strictly and proudly 100% "Made in France." The brand partners with master artisans in Limoges—a city globally recognized for producing fine, durable hard-paste porcelain, utilizing premium local kaolin clay.

Sarah-Linda operates on the philosophy of "Sensual Eating Tools." Rather than traditional, perfectly flat, and symmetrical plates, her designs mimic the organic, perfect imperfections of nature—such as the curves of a shell or a stone. The pieces are specifically designed to fit comfortably in the hand, encouraging diners to touch their tableware and interact more intuitively and sensually with their food.

Because of their highly sculptural, irregular shapes, Sarah-Linda plates should be the focal point of the table setting. Expert stylists recommend pairing the deep Graphite plates with minimalist, matte-finish cutlery (like brushed gold or black PVD) and raw linen napkins. This allows the dramatic texture and shape of the porcelain to stand out without looking cluttered.
