The process begins by carefully extracting fine threads from the leaves of the Toquilla palm. These fibres are then dyed and meticulously interwoven by hand using traditional techniques passed down through generations. The result is an intricate sculptural napkin ring that celebrates both craftsmanship and the vibrant cultural identity of the region.

The lobster motif introduces a lighthearted yet sophisticated element to the table, making it particularly suited for seaside dining, yachts, tropical villas and relaxed yet elegant gatherings. Paired with crisp linen napkins, porcelain tableware and crystal glassware, it adds texture, warmth and personality to any tablescape.

For decades, artisan communities in Sandoná have preserved the art of weaving Toquilla palm, which remains an essential source of livelihood and cultural heritage.
